2015–16 Manchester City F.C. season
The 2015–16 season is Manchester City's 114th season of competitive football and eighty-seventh season in the top division of English football and nineteenth season in the Premier League since the league was first created with Manchester City as one of the original 22 founder-members. Along with the Premier League, the club will also compete in the UEFA Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup. The season covers the period from 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016.
City began their league campaign with the same form they had shown at the end of the previous season. On winning their first 4 Premier League games, on 29 August 2015 the team set a new club record of 10 consecutive league victories, beating the previous record which had stood for 103 years.
